Show Us Your Moves!
I need your help in the movement to cure arthritis-let's move together!!!

Hi, I'm Andrew and I have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was diagnosed at 2 years old, and I have had my ups and downs with Arthritis. I have had it in both of my knees and my left ankle. It has also made my eyes have problems. Last year they found it in my jaw too. I am lucky, my parents took me to a new Rheumatologist and she was able to give me joint injections in my jaw and ankle (don't worry, I was asleep for it!) Since September I have been in remission and off all my yucky medicine.
On May 17th I will be leading team Walk With Andrew at the Bergen County Arthritis Walk. It would mean so much to me if you came out to join us at the walk. The Arthritis Foundation has done so much to help me and my family through the years, including sending me to an amazing sleep away camp for kids with Arthritis. It is called Camp CHAT and it was the most amazing week. I got to meet lots of kids just like me who suffer every day with Arthritis. I got to do so many fun things - rock wall, boating, swimming, basketball with my counselor who was from Greece!
So much research is needed to find a cure for Arthritis. I have had lots of problems in my life, but I never let it stop me. If you can help me out and make a small donation in my name, I can promise you it will make a difference in my life and the lives of millions of other people.

I hope you will join me on May 17th and have a great time with me and my family.

Thanks for all of your support through the years.
Love,
Andrew :)

P.S. This is a picture of me participating in "Jump Rope for Healthy Hearts" at school in February. A year ago, when my ankle was so swollen, I couldn't even jump rope - this year, I jumped like a pro!
